This is a manufacturer-authorised replacement, not a locally rebuilt or unauthorised engine repair. Prospective buyers are welcome to verify the service history and replacement details directly with Kia. A NOTE ABOUT THE ENGINE REPLACEMENT - PLEASE READ BEFORE JUDGING The vehicle's original engine experienced a complete mechanical failure, which was acknowledged by Kia and subsequently replaced with a complete engine assembly under Kia India's manufacturer warranty, at absolutely no cost to the owner. This was carried out through an authorised Kia service centre, and all supporting documents are available for verification. An engine is a mechanical component, just like a clutch plate, brake pads or tyres. These components naturally wear out or may require replacement during a vehicle's lifetime. A properly executed, manufacturer-authorised engine replacement is not automatically a reason to consider a vehicle inferior or mechanically unreliable. In this case, instead of opting for a local repair or an unauthorised rebuild, Kia replaced the engine under its own warranty. The replacement engine has approximately 300 km of running, while the vehicle's original odometer reading remains unchanged. The replacement is fully documented, giving the next owner transparency and the opportunity to verify the work directly with Kia. Please judge the vehicle based on its actual condition, authorised service history and documented replacement - not simply on the assumption that an engine replacement automatically makes a car a bad purchase. Why Consider This Vehicle? A carefully maintained, single-owner Seltos with a complete authorised service history, excellent overall condition, recently replaced tyres and documented manufacturer-authorised engine replacement. Genuine buyers are welcome to inspect the vehicle and verify all documents.
