Description

A very special 1965 Land Rover Series IIA, being offered for sale in India. I bought this Land Rover just before COVID and have spent the years since slowly restoring it as a personal project. It is approximately 75% restored, with considerable work already completed with precision, patience and a lot of heart. I have now relocated abroad and, unfortunately, am looking for the right person to take over the project and bring it to completion. Highlights: • 1965 Land Rover Series IIA • Goa (GDA) registration • All original papers/documents available • Approximately 75% restored • Original body, chassis and major components retained • Currently fitted with a Mahindra/Bolero engine and gearbox • Original engine was a Perkins diesel, side-mounted • Restoration undertaken as a personal collector project • Not a commercial restoration or assembled vehicle • A genuine classic with plenty of character and history Asking: ₹25,00,000 Serious enquiries only. Ideally looking for a genuine collector or enthusiast who will appreciate what this vehicle is and complete the restoration with the same care. A collector’s joy, and a piece of motoring history.
